A pair of laptop covers with stickers applied, in front of those covers are a collection of toys.

This is my laptop sticker collection, plus a few knick-knaks I’ve picked up over the years.

The top shelf has my AWS laptop case (the laptop itself was shipped back when I left AWS, naturally). My favourite sticker here is my AWS Summit London sticker in the bottom right corner. I was really excited to be going to an AWS event with the public in attendance! I’m also glad I’ve got my “Rule 0: Don’t be on fire” sticker on there, which is hidden behind my Dad’s “Fat Controller”.

Talking of the toys, the front row on the top shelf are largely toys from the arcades that we go to over the summer. Superduck is my favourite, but the three robots are cute too.

On the bottom shelf is my last personal laptop I could attach stickers to. When the laptop itself died, I ripped the back off the laptop to preserve the stickers! I love how many layers of stickers there are there. You can’t tell from the photo, but the O’Reilly logo in the middle is glossy and curved, which made putting some of the other stickers on quite… interesting.

In front of that laptop case is my wooden layered penguin (yep, it didn’t take very well from that angle), my fencer (recalling my school days), my custom minifig (I pretty much am always wearing a T-Shirt with some logo on it, although these days there’s usually a jumper or hoodie over the top of it), then there’s my Wicker Man sculpture from the first time I rode that, and then my toy police man, that my Dad gave me when I was born. There’s also a small toy light-up light sabre at the back of the shelf.

Attached to the wall underneath are my subnet spreadsheet and some guidance from a former colleague on “responding to a major incident” that I keep around in case it’s ever useful!
