We dug the old candyfloss maker out of the garage and made candyfloss for us all. The glow is the light of the heating element reflecting off the spun sugar. It was super tasty!

Orchard Toys board game "Party Party Party", played today with Emily and Daniel

As a family, we are big into our games. We have a wardrobe full, and two cupboards full too… Around 370 in total. Today I played three games with the kids – this, Carcassonne and MCU Top Trumps Trivia Quiz.

2021-01-04 – Glossop

Two padlocks, one rusty, and the old frame of a lock for the gate. On the day that the UK Government re-institute lock-down for at least a month and a half.

I took this photo while out walking, just after Mr Johnson, British Prime Minister, announces that we’re re-entering “Lock Down”… basically telling people to stay at home. I guess we’ll see how long that lasts! Some suggest it will be until “February Half Term”, others until March “at the earliest”!
